The Gorilla Gear 83mm Black flat burrs will increase your dose consistency and extraction, reduce static and clumping, stabilize the operating temperature, and bring a higher taste quality and clarity to the cup. All Gorilla Gear burrs are pre-seasoned during the manufacturing process which eliminates the frustration, wasted kgs of coffee, and any need for any beading in time.
Once pre-seasoned they are hardened and then treated with a low-friction coating to drastically reduce surface friction. This aids in reducing equipment operating temperature, static, and excessive heat.
Hardness - The life of your burrs is important and as well as using high-quality tooling steel our burrs are also hardened.

Friction - Through thorough testing, we have been able to gain higher extractions and clarity in the cup by reducing surface friction. Our low-friction DLC coating ( Diamond-like carbon ) is the final stage of production and also gives our burrs a stunning black finish.

Life expectancy - The life of any set of burrs is determined by the roast degree of the coffee you use, as a standard, we advise that our 83mm Black Flat Burrs will last you a minimum of 4 times the standard steel burrs.
